If you attended last year’s coffee roasting festival at the North Market, chances are you remember how great, but also how crazy, it was with hundreds of coffee lovers crammed into the second floor of the market.
This year’s Coffee Roast Brunch—which will be held this Sunday, April 13 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.—will take advantage of the entire footprint of the market. Roasters and other vendors will be set up in the Farmers Market Pavilion just off the North Market parking lot. Here, expect local roasters, including Crimson Cup Coffee, One Line Coffee, Upper Cup Coffee and Actual Coffee (a spinoff of Actual Brewing) to be set up with samples. Snowville Creamery will be there, too, with cream for your coffee.
Head upstairs to the NoMa Kitchen for coffee demos throughout the day, including espresso drink demos from John Justice of Cafe Brioso and home-roasting insight from Boston Stoker.
Kicking off before the market’s normal hours, expect some vendors to open early for brunch, too.
Tickets are $15 in advance (and limited) or $20 at the door. Proceeds benefit North Market Development Authority. For more, visit North Market’s website.
