Looking for a platform to test a few new ideas, Challah! food truck chef Catie Randazzo will take over the kitchen at Grass Skirt at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 15, for what she’s calling a “Jew-ow Luau” pop-up dinner. Randazzo has crafted a six-course meal that combines elements from the menus of both the Jewish-inspired food truck and the Polynesian-leaning Grass Skirt. The $45 per person dinner also includes a flight of Kona beer, plus a chance to sample the Downtown restaurant’s tiki-inspired cocktails.
