Green Olive Company sells imported olive oils and balsamic vinegars from a sleek storefront in the Short North. Owner Lisa McCormack fills us in on a few of her best-selling specialty oils

Blood orange infused oil

Blood oranges are pressed with olives to make this citrusy Tunisian oil. Pair it with a white or dark balsamic vinegar to use as a salad dressing.

Manzanillo extra virgin olive oil

This single-origin extra virgin olive oil from Spain with a peppery finish can be used for absolutely everything.Try it for pan-frying or in any recipe that calls for olive oil.

White truffle oil

This specialty oil is made by steeping white truffles in olive oil. Roughly twice as expensive as other oils, a little goes a long way. Use this flavorful oil to finish dishes, like mashed potatoes, risotto or a bowl of popcorn.

Harissa-infused olive oil

Harissa is a North African spice blend that packs some heat. Typically it’s used as a rub for fish, and this oil pairs well with any seafood dish.

Cayenne-infused olive oil

This spicy oil works great anywhere you want to add a little heat. Mix it with white vinegar, and use it as a marinade for meat before grilling.
