Lunch at Latitude 41

By

Posted on:

The restaurant inside the Renaissance hotel is a terrific go-to lunch option (the swanky dining room is great for impressing dates or clients), and some recent changes in the kitchen staff at Latitude 41--chef Adam Cobb, who replaced longtime chef David MacLennan, recently left--has made for some menu fluctuations. I recently enjoyed a Buttermilk Fried Chicken sandwich that joins other sandwich newcomers like a Croque Madam and Oyster Po'Boy on the most recent lunch/dinner menu iteration.

Served on a toasted hoagie roll, the crunchy fried chicken breast is topped with a lovely truffle aioli, and a made-in-house slaw of kale, carrot and cabbage adds a semblance of nutrition. And it tastes so much better than fast-food fried chicken sandwiches.
