I will admit I drove right on by the Crest a couple times before finally mustering the courage to stop in. The crowds have been insane since the former dive bar reopened in its new gastropub incarnation at the end of April, with lines waiting outside just about any time of day.
As its name indicates, the new Pint House Beer Garden is, for the most part, all about the beer. But there is a food menu, and I quite enjoyed pairing some nibbles with a couple beers during a happy hour there earlier this week.
Summer feels so tantalizingly close, despite temperatures over the past couple of days that had me turning on my heat at home. Happily, I forgot all about the chilly temperatures while sampling a few drinks from Curio's new summer list.
During a quick jaunt to Hocking Hills over the weekend, my traveling companions and I found ourselves famished after a morning hike. We wanted to try something authentic to the area, and we definitely found it in Jack’s Steakhouse.
